I have been trying to arrive to Chef Ido Feiner's restaurant, Roberta Vinci, for almost two weeks. Each time we have cancelled for a different reason. But we finally managed to get out of the house for a few hours and we just went for it. We set a reservation to the restaurant, we were workout to feel good with all the carbs, and we went out.
The restaurant is located in Pardes Hanna, took me 15 minutes drive for each direction. It sits on a large and rustic compound, with a warm and cozy design, and an impressive, exposed oven for making all the tasty things.
The menu we received in front of us was a relatively new menu, which is great because I always like to be the first who will update on how good it is and what is the best to order.
After long review at everything the menu has to offer, we decided to order some entrees, pizza, pasta, and something delicious for dessert. But we quickly realized that we would not have enough room for the pasta, so we decided at some point to update the waitress that we would eat it next time, so that we could get to the Promised Dessert Land. So from my experience, if you are coming as a couple and are interested in sharing the dishes together, I recommend ordering 2 starters, 2 mains and a dessert, the perfect structure for the meal for me.
Caesar salad (54 NIS), with dill, anchovies, croutons and parmesan. Relatively large entrée. Although we got the classic and slightly heavy version of it, because the parmesan is a significant part of the dish, it was a tasty and good dish, and adding the dill was refreshing. #yammmmm
Roasted Beets (54 NIS), with salted cheese cream, sesame seeds and celery. An excellent dish of really interesting flavors. The beets provide sweetness and lightness, the cheese has the saltiness and hyssop flavor we felt in it which was interesting in the mouth. A bite of all this goodness together and this is a dish that we had a really nice time finishing. #yammmmm
Labane (44 NIS), with a spicy, tomatoes, fresh hyssop and fried almonds. Delicate labane, over it peppers and tomatoes that give the spiciness, when occasionally you find something that looks like an olive, but not, that was an almond that is fried, that gave the warm and crunchy taste. The dish also comes with a cute piece of focaccia that will always give me great pleasure with wiping the plate and loading all the toppings to enjoy. #yammmmm
Gnocchi (62 NIS), hot yogurt, burnt lettuce, hyssop and olive oil. The gnocchi itself was tasty but a little dense. But the sauce itself was stunning and caressing with charred lettuce and added a nice originality to the dish with an intriguing and delicious flavor. #yammmmm
Bonfire potato pizza (66 NIS), with mozzarella, parmesan, egg, sour cream and chives. The pizza dough was excellent, but less we connected to the toppings. We were missing something that would lighten the presence of all the ingredients together. #yammmmm
At that stage we were already blown away, so that in the normal stomach there was no more room left. Luckily the dessert stomach was left free for the two desserts that came to the table and we could finish them.
Lemona (45 NIS), a tempting jar of three delicate layers, the first a lemon panacota, the second a lemon mousse and the third a geranium crumble. Take the spoon from top to bottom so we can enjoy all the textures and flavors together inside the mouth and it is a delicious and fun sour taste to end the meal with. #yammmmm
Kaymak (38 NIS), a very special Turkish dessert made from the fat left over from the cream after making it (from what I understand). Along with the beautiful cream on the plate, we got also a jam of Chinese orange, nuts and olive oil. I love desserts that come with olive oil, it's always a special and delicious combination. A stunning and dessert. #yammmmm

We went back to Roberta Vinci a month after the previous time, for a family lunch, and as expected we were not disappointed. This time we ordered some dishes we had not yet tried and left us curious from the previous time.
We started with Risotto (62 NIS), with a stew of greens, olive oil and cream. I'm in love with risotto, even more when it comes al dente, with pleasant and warm flavors that got a nice freshness from the cream that was added with every bite to the spoon and was a stunning match to all the beauty we had on the plate. Yam. #yammmmm
We continued to some main courses of pizza and pasta.
Mushroom Pizza (66 NIS), with tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil and mascarpone. Pizza with a thin and delicious dough. I was missing some salt but that did not stop us from finishing the whole dish. #yammmmm
Lemona Fettuccine (58 NIS), with tarragon, butter, garlic, chili and parmesan. Pasta in a style I love. The pasta was a bit al dente, and its combination with the parmesan and garlic grains worked stunningly for me. Flavors that maybe not everyone will connect to but I liked it. #yammmmm
Pappardelle Roasted Mushrooms (68 NIS), with garlic, cream, parsley, basil and parmesan. A universal dish with touches of fine dining. Delicious. #yammmmm
We finished with 2 delicious desserts. Sneakers that come in a jar containing delicious layers of chocolate and peanuts. Also, Tiramisu that was great. #yammmmm
It's a #yammmmm
