I have been telling myself for a while that I want to get to one of Ruti Broudo's places, especially after years have passed since I was at the Hotel Montefiore restaurant, and I really missed it. So I finally arrived to Herzl 16, to my sister's bachelorette party, an exciting event in itself.
The place is very pleasant, and includes a menu that is perfect for a sharing meal.
We all sat down, ordered a good bottle of wine, and took care to remove from ourselves the responsibility of choosing the dishes, and transferred it elegantly to the restaurant.
We started with small opening of Vegetables in Goma, with a spicy taste, a slightly hard texture of the vegetables and an Asian flavor that for a change I didn't like. But I loved that it came on a personal plate. #yammmmm

Yaki Bun (NIS 28), with smoked garlic aioli and chukimono (Japanese pickles). It's the Asian version of the bread\focaccia. It is so great to open the meal with this dish, because the carbs are of course soft and pleasant and it is perfectly dipped in aioli which was an exact match for this delicious ingredient. #yammmmm

Grilled Cabbage (42 NIS), with Goma, coriander salsa and hazelnuts. A slice of a beautiful roasted cabbage wrapped in refreshing coriander and nuts for a fun crunch. #yammmmm

Samosa (42 NIS), with coriander and coconut chutney. A stunning snack, stuffed with a soft and delicious potato when on the outside it is wrapped in a crispy dough, and if all of that is not enough, the touch of all this goodness in the chutney is amazing. We ordered the dish 3 times. #yammmmm

Mendo From a New Meat (42 NIS) with orange and ginger sauce. Kind of an eggroll stuffed with vegan meat that comes with a delicious special orange dip. Every bite of this delicious fried is yam that is wow in the mouth, and I wish there would be such a delicious vegan meat everywhere. #yammmmm

Chirashi (56 NIS), with salmon tartare, salmon roe, wasabi avocado cream, pickled radish and nori. A sort of disassembled sushi salad, with super interesting flavors, and not sure will suit everyone. The combination of soya, radish, fish eggs and cream created a kind of very fresh and intriguing Asian flavor. #yammmmm

Vegan Yakisova (62 NIS), with root vegetables, shiitake and ginger. You can feel the mushrooms taste, the hard flavors of the vegetables and the softness of the noodles. A cute dish. #yammmmm

Bread Pudding (46 NIS), with maccha ice cream (green tea) and strawberries. This is the third time I have had the opportunity to eat this dessert in the last few months and this is the first time that I did not have anything bad to say about it, only great words. The bread itself came cut into cubes (thank you very much!) with ice cream and pieces of strawberries around it. Put a cube on the spoon, fill it with ice cream and add some cute strawberries and it's perfect. #yammmmm

Apple Crumble (42 NIS), with ginger, sour cream and lemon zest. Familiar and warm apple flavors, comes with the cool creamy flavors on top. Tasty. #yammmmm

Chocolate cake (42 NIS) with vanilla ice cream. A pretty simple and standard dessert. Nice layered cake combined with cold ice cream. #yammmmm

Rice Pudding (38 NIS), with mango, strawberries and toasted coconut. A refreshing and fun dessert to end the meal with. For a change the fruit flavors and the pudding worked great for me with the coconut. #yammmmm
