My birthday week started with Chef Tomer Agay's Cena restaurant. An Italian restaurant that opened very recently.
I came with a few friend, set on the inside area and started to ordered some delicious dishes from the menu.
We started with an Organic Leaf Salad (54 NIS), with crispy lettuce, Maggie tomatoes, spiral beets, Turkish kashkabal and basil vinaigrette. A simple salad, that was tasty and nice but not something I had not yet eaten before. #yammmmm
Spicy Tuna (72 NIS), chopped with a knife, sour cream and smoked eggplant meat. A tasty dish, combined with great cream. #yammmmm
A White Fish Crudo from the Mediterranean (68 NIS), with olive oil, green onions and lime. Obviously it was delicious, but I needed more salt in it. #yammmmm
Green Pizza (64 NIS), with wild spinach, Hameiri cheese, green chili, oregano and egg yolk. A pizza with a delicious dough, and delicious salty flavors of Hameiri cheese that blended with all the spice, egg and spinach and were just an amazing bite in the mouth. #yammmmm
Pappardelle (78 NIS), with cherry tomato ragout, white wine, olives, and labana. It was too simple for me. #yammmmm
Gnocchi from the oven (NIS 78), handmade gnocchi, with spinach and local Hameiri cheese. Wow what a dish, how delicious and special it is. An exciting stew that came to the table and was full of delicious salty cheese flavors, warmth of the sauce and unusual softness of the gnocchi. Yam. #yammmmm
Local Sea Fish Skewer (84 NIS), grilled with melon, green onions, spicy salad and yogurt. A very nice and familiar dish. #yammmmm
We finished with two Italian desserts that a great sweet taste in the mouth.
Dark Chocolate Mousse (49 NIS), with whiskey, crunch nougat, salted caramel sauce, tonka ice cream and sea salt. Loved it so much, especially with the salt on it. #yammmmm
Classic Tiramisu (52 NIS). A classic dessert , but made with perfection. #yammmmm
I had a lot of expectations from this restaurant, and i really enjoyed it a lot. Good vibes, elegant and beautiful space, and good food.
